Holding Small Parts

Tip for January 2013:
Holding Small Parts

Small parts can be difficult to prepare: tweezers don't have enough grip, and fingers are often too cumbersome. A better way to hold them is to create a temporary "handle." Take a short section of masking tape, roll it into a loop with the sticky side out, and stick the part to it. The rest of the loop is large enough to handle easily, and the tape is sticky enough to let you sand or paint (without leaving residue).
