As faithful as LEGO movies & games are to their real-world roots, I was a little surprised that there were so many differences between the cycle shown in The LEGO Movie and set #70808. I could see last minute tweaks and adjustments effecting colors, but using a major component that has never existed was really unusual. Still, thanks to other fans and there is an option on Shapeways, at least there was a way I could get closer to the animation model.
