Tip for December 2007:
Sharpies for Colored Lenses

Back in April '05, I mentioned the benefit of using Metallic Sharpies for trim work. But the regular colored Sharpies work great for modeling projects, too: red, orange, and yellow Sharpies can be used on clear plastic to create signal lenses without the hassle of paint. Just color in the area that you want tinted, and you'll have a nice clean lens with no runs and sharp edges in seconds - no drying time required. You can even go over the same place multiple times for a darker tint.
