Tip for March 2010:
Realistic Wiring
Ignition wires are a great detail to help improve the look of your engine, but remember that you can detract from the overall look just as easily if they look "fake." Compare the two images at left, and notice how the wiring on the upper engine comes straight out of the distributor and arcs around to the plugs, without touching anything in between. Real iginition wires are heavy, and unless supported by something (like looms) they should sag. But be careful! You don't want your wires to adhere tightly to the engine, or it will look like your car is wired with shoe string. It's a delicate balance, but finding it will make a huge difference in your finished model.
