Contest Mistake #3: Paint Issues

We all have paint jobs go bad on us, and in some cases it's impossible to go back and properly fix it (for example, a rough clear coat over hard-to-get decals). But if you're looking to place in a contest, you have to bite the bullet and do the repair work. Runs, fades, wrinkles, cracks, and other blemishes - even tiny ones - can really detract from an otherwise clean build.
