Get a Proper Color Match
If you're building a replica of a 1:1 factory car, you may be at a loss when it comes to finding the right paint. Standard hobby paints are great for most popular colors of the muscle car era, and places like
MCW offer even more options for vintage colors. But if you're looking for something made in the last few years, most companies have not yet had time to work up a good match. For these colors, contact the service department of a car dealer: they can often get touch-up paint in cans and bottles directly from the manufacturer.
