Wing Struts

Oversized wing struts are an easy way to ruin the look of a tuner. An easy and good looking solution (without spending a fortune on PE) is to use model railroad stair railing. It's shaped correctly, lightweight, cast in one piece (so it's strong), and made of styrene so it's easy to cut and adheres with any modeling glue.
