Tip for May 2014:
No Shortcuts
Every once in a while, you'll come to a part of the build that seems particularly daunting...not necessarily because of difficulty so much as tediousness. At times like these, there isn't going to be a shortcut or method to make the job go quicker; you'll just need to plod through it. But even if there are no work alternatives, you can change how you approach these tasks. Break the overall job into smaller chunks, take frequent breaks, or shelve that part of the build entirely until you're in the right mind set. It can seem frustrating to delay a build over one detail, but it can be even more frustrating to have something finished that you're not happy with.
