Automan Revisited
Tuesday, August 19. 2014
In the 1980s, computers could do anything: spontaneously become sentient, develop complex personalities, turn Barbie dolls into living humans, and, in the case of Automan, create solid objects out of thin air. Not too bad considering most of the computers of the time had less power than my current cell phone.
I had originally built an Auto Car back in mid-2009 from a Tamiya kit, but like a few others it was one that I wanted to take another crack at. This time came out much more to my liking, using the unlikely source of a lead crystal paperweight as a starting point.
