Although the chase sequence in Short Time used a Plymouth Caravelle, the scene kicking things off used a Dodge Diplomat (which would have been more appropriate in the movie's Seattle seting, anyway). So when I reworked this diecast, I chose to keep the "Dodge" badging rather than switch it to Plymouth.

I disassembled and cleaned the body, removed the light bar and filled in the mount holes, then repainted it with a Krylon Burgundy that looked like a pretty good match to the original Mopar color. Detailing was done with paint, BMF, and colored pencils, and the hood badge was replaced with a scratchbuilt Chrysler pentagon. The roof light was also scratchbuilt, made from a wiggle eye and a sliver of rod stock with a coiled wire. A rear 759-HTE license plate and rear bumperettes finished things off nicely.
