CSI: Miami H2

Although I'm a fan of the original CSI, I never really got into any of its spinoffs. One thing that is cool about CSI: Miami, though, is their chosen modes of transportation. Having had good results with Revell's predecorated metal kits in the past, I thought this would be a fun buildup. As usual, Revell's quality means a really nice, easy build with essentially no headaches. You can check it out here.

Flintmobile, Meet the Flintmobile

Here's another one I've been wanting to add to my collection for quite a while: the Flintstones' family car, aka the "Flintmobile." Thanks to McFarlane's Hanna-Barbera series two box set, I now have a 1/24 stone-age sedan to go with the rest of my cars. You can check out the photos and write-up here.

Build a Model Online

Bored at work? Build a model! Revell has a "3D Virtual Model" on their site that lets you do a buildup of their snap-together Corvette. Not really much in the way of custom options, but it's a fun little time waster. You can check it out here.

Thanks to Mr. Mopar on the Scale Auto forums for pointing this out!

Fastest Chicken in the South!

It's that time of year again, where I salute the master of late '70s/early '80s car chase movies in scale. This year, I went with 1983's Stroker Ace, and built up the #7 Clyde Torkel Chicken Pit Special.
