Geeking Out at NYCC (part 1/2)

Scott Kurtz at NYCCThis year was my favorite NYCC so far, in no small part because I was able to get a couple of special autographs while I was there. The first of which was by Mr. Scott Kurtz, creator of PvP.

I first encountered PvP right in the middle of a storyline, and by going back through the archives to find the starting point I was hooked. Almost nine years later, it's one of the few strips that have remained as daily readers for me.

It was great being able to stop and talk with him at NYCC, and I really appreciate being able to take home a personalized souvenir of the event. You can check out the finished build (complete with chassis decoration) here.

New Photos of the 2011 Dodge Charger

2011 Charger

Chrysler has released official photos of their update to the Dodge Charger, which takes further styling cues from the late 1960s version. Not sure I'd call this a retro design, but I do like the more aggressive nose and the full-width taillight panel. More photos are available here
