The Eta-2 Light Interceptor from Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith was never my favorite design, but it did show a nice transition from the earlier Episode I and II crafts to the later TIE fighters. Most people are probably familiar with The Trollenberg Terror (released in the US as The Crawling Eye) thanks to its appearance on Mystery Science Theater 3000. My own first encounter with the title, though, was in the pages of Stephen King's It, where the Eye was one of the shapes taken by the titular antagonist.
