When my whole plan for a kit is for it to be a simple afternoon project, finding a pile of broken parts right out of the box makes it hard to stay motivated. But as long as I'm swearing to not procrastinate this year, it seemed like the time to finally get the Monster Garage Nut Shaker off the "to be done" list.

Over at the Model Cars Magazine forum, the theme for this year's Cannonball Run Community Build is "The Cannonball Ruse" - race cars disguised as regular transportation. My mind immediately went to the original pop culture street racer/sleeper from back in 1964: The Little Old Lady from Pasadena and her unbeatable Dodge.
