Like a Ninja in the Night, I Strike Swiftly and Unseen

Simple as they were, I still really like the old flipchangers that first made their appearance in Machine Wars (the Mirage in my Transformers CHUG collection is the slightly later RobotMasters version of the mold, and - nostalgia aside - remains my favorite version of the character to date). Thanks to a new addition to the Tamiya paint lineup, I finally have a 1/24 version for my collection.

Everything's Not Awesome

I've been kind of off my game the past week or so, as happens to anyone who builds stuff on the regular. But the desire to keep creating is still there, which makes a project like this so great: in a couple of hours I can go from box to model, without having to deal with paint, glue, or ill-fitting parts. Plus, when the inevitable screwup happens, it's easy to fix.
