The Toy Book Interviews Jada's May Li
Saturday, October 20. 2007
Jada Toys has posted an interview between The Toy Book and May Li, founder & president of Jada Toys. There were two especially interesting passages in the article:
"Not only do we hold several exclusive rights on the New Camaro, but we also have exclusives on upcoming Corvettes. We have excellent licenses with all the major automotive companies. One of our hot selling vehicles right now is the 2007 Mustang Shelby GT500. Some other great licenses within our portfolio include Batman, The US Postal Service, Pepsi, 7up, The Godfather, Scarface, Sopranos and Reservoir Dogs."
"Jada has also expanded its presence in the Model Kit category to now include 1/24 scale plastic kits, in addition to our very successful diecast kits. We felt that this was a category that needed a shot in the arm and we have enjoyed a very positive response from this audience. This new category not only allows us to continue to capitalize on our core automotive business, but also has opened the door into new retail channels that were previously not available to us."
Looks like there will be some very exciting possibilities coming! Any further details will be posted here.
