Although it came out a couple of years ago, I only just found out about the Caparo T1. On doing more research, I learned that one of the concepts produced in the fall of 2007 was the Rapid Response Vehicle (produced in conjunction with the London Metropolitan Police):
The idea of a road-going F1 Police car seemed awfully familiar. Three years prior to the unveiling of the RRV, Hasbro produced this Prowl figure as part of their Energon line:
The similarities are even better with S.W.A.T. Prowl, who has headlight printed onto his front fenders and a more traditional black & white color scheme. It seems like the idea wasn't so far-fetched after all.
