I'm Fine Living Without You

Remember the story about how Chic's 1978 song "Le Freak" wasn't supposed to use the phrase "freak out," but as the original lyrics used a radio-unfriendly expletive they changed it - first to "freak off" before settling on the version we know today? Turns out that, according to producer Teddy Park, "Hate You" was also supposed to have a much more forceful title before being modified to a "clean" version to allow for greater airplay.
