Once I finished the Grease Ford, it seemed like a given to make something from Hairspray. But the best option was the red 1961 Corvette, of which there were precisely zero kits currently available. I did have all the parts to make my own, though, so after several months of cutting, filling, sanding, and pulling parts I was able to get it finished with nearly a week to spare!
