Background

Batman received another new chassis for the 2012 season, which debuted at the final show of the season with Bari Musawwir at the wheel. It was also the first year in the truck's career that it did not make an appearance at the World Finals.

 

Packaging

Another decorative update to the print, with the addition of a special logo at the top right corner of the back panel celebrating Grave Digger's 30th anniversary. The "Did You Know" blurb on the reverse side is still there, but now has a photo and brief bio of Grave Digger.

 

Casting/Paint

Unchanged from 2011, though the finish looks rougher here than it did on either of the previous two gloss black releases.

No change from the previous release.

No change from the previous release.

 

Overall

Another continuation year, the only difference I can find once they're out of their boxes could be chalked up to variances in manufacturing.
