In my writeup for the Viper RT/10, I mentioned how the initial wave of tie-ins to the show were mostly based on whatever Dodge-branded products manufacturers were making at the time. That was a problem for AMT/Ertl's kit of the Stealth, as it depicted the new-for-1994 Series 2 model with fixed projector headlights. Episodes of Viper were filmed in early '93, using Series 1 Stealths with pop-up headlights. I could have used an earlier promo to get the correct car, but if I did that why bother having the Viper kit in the first place? This was what gave me the final prompt to build it and the RT/10 straight out of the box, screen accuracy be damned.

Like the Viper, assembly was pretty straightforward with only a few marks to clean up. There were a couple of minor sink marks in the rear deck, but those were easy enough to fill with some Tamiya putty. I did manage to break off one of the tabs that holds the front seats in place, so hat had to be glued, but otherwise the hardest part was hammering the wheels into place forcefully enough to get the job done but not so enough to break anything.

The interior was painted TS-29 and flocked with embossing powder, and the body was finished in TS-14 Black. after a good polishing and waxing, custom prints were made for the rear bumper lights and screen-accurate license plate.
